Miami Heat has advanced to the NBA Finals after defeating the Boston Celtics in six games of the Conference Finals. Now that Miami has emerged as the Eastern Champions, they have shut haters who didn’t expect them to make it that far.

Former Celtics’ star, Paul Pierce, had a lot of judgments to make after adding the ‘analyst’ tag before his name. Recently, during the season, Pierce had brushed aside Miami Heat from the list of teams that could make it close to the championship. “If the Miami Heat is close, that means every team in the NBA is close,” Pierce had said on ‘The Jump’.

Well, Jimmy Butler and Co. have given him an apt response after a 125-113 victory over the Celtics in Game 6 to close the series 4-2. Bam Adebayo recorded a career-high 32 points and 14 rebounds, a spectacular show of talent on the court. Moreover, Jimmy Butler added another 22 points to the win.

Wade sent a message for Pierce after Miami Heat advanced to the finals

As the season has unfolded to boil down to the Finals teams, the Heat, and the Lakers, Paul Pierce is getting trolled on Twitter over his statement. The most hilarious one would surely be Heat legend, Dwyane Wade’s message for Pierce.

Wade put up a video where he mentioned Pierce and said, “You know where I live,” immediately after the Heat beat the Celtics in the East.

Wade and Pierce do not share a sweet history with each other. Pierce had claimed to be better than Wade last year, and that heated things even more. Moreover, Pierce has been wary of Heat since the very beginning. He has never considered them a ‘competition’ despite their stellar performances.

Many vouched for the Milwaukee Bucks to take over the crown from the East but were surprised by the Heat’s performance. Other than stars like Butler and Adebayo, Tyler Herro has also exhibited his capabilities in recent times. That adds to the Heat’s strength as a team.
