The Los Angeles Lakers have defeated the Miami Heat in back to back final games. They are now up 2-0 in the series and are just two wins away from winning championship #17. Behind this fabulous victory was none other than the duo of LeBron James and Anthony Davis.

The duo combined for 65 points and were unstoppable throughout the game. Moreover, the Lakers rocked the Black Mamba jerseys today and they remain undefeated in them. Kobe Bryant’s blessing has been there for the Lakers during this entire playoff run. The Lakers are now in a comfortable position to win a ring for the late legend.

However, LBJ revealed that the Lakers were unhappy with their defensive performance down the stretch. The Miami Heat cut the lead to single digits several times during the final stretch of the game.

Myself, Coach and AD were not happy with our defensive presence tonight. We know we can be a lot better. Myself and AD, we’re not satisfied with just the win. We want to be great.”

Even after taking a 2-0 lead, the Lakers are flaunting their killer mentality. Honestly, the job is not finished yet. The Heat can still make a comeback in the series. Even without their two stars in Bam Adebayo and Goran Dragic, the Heat kept the game close.

If the Lakers lose focus on the defensive end, they might give the Heat a chance for a comeback. That would be the worst-case scenario for the Lakers as it will rip them off the momentum they have as of now.

Moreover, the duo is getting it done on both ends of the floor. Head coach Frank Vogel must be jubilant to have two superstars who can consistently perform on the biggest stage for his team.

In the first two games of the Finals, James is averaging 29.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 9.0 assists. Meanwhile, Davis is right ahead of his partner in crime with 33.0 points, 11.5 boards, and 3.0 assists.
