Chris Paul‘s future with the Oklahoma City Thunder is quite uncertain as of now. If Paul leaves the OKC, he is reportedly interested in going to Los Angeles or New York. One might speculate that this is the best option for him to win a ring and solidify himself as a Hall of Famer. But Kevin Durant believes the veteran point guard is already a Hall of Famer.
Recently, when a rumor suggested that Chris Paul might be out of OKC, an NBA fan wrote that without winning a ring, CP3 isn’t a HOFer. The fan wrote, “Send him to the Lakers, he deserves a chance at his ring. Only thing keeping him from Hall of Fame convo. LeBron would compliment his game so much along with AD. They prolly losing Rondo anyways, so they need a guard.”
Upon seeing this comment, Durant defended CP3 and stated, “Lmao Chris Paul in the hall of fame already.”

Chris Paul has been in the league for 14 seasons and has racked up a plethora of brilliant seasons. Looking back at his career, a championship will definitely improve his odds of getting into the Hall of Fame.
Even if he retires without a ring, Paul should get into the HoF, regardless. Do you agree with Durant’s claim?
