When talking about the most hardworking players in the NBA, one cannot leave Jimmy Butler off the list. He is a gym rat, and this year his hard work almost resulted into an NBA title.

However, some unfortunate injuries to key players caused Miami to fall short in the finals. Regardless, the journey of Butler and the Heat in the NBA Bubble is one to remember for years.

Butler’s dedication was on full display as he didn’t even get a haircut during the Bubble’s time span to focus on his game. But now, with the season over, Jimmy is back in the barbershop.

Jimmy Butler gets a long-overdue grooming session

Butler shared a vlog on his YouTube channel, where he talked about the nightlife in Miami while getting his unruly locks chopped off.

Ahh man, I haven’t been out one time. I have been to dinner twice. I’ve hosted a couple of events, which was legit. You know, the Super Bowl was here, so we did that. Other than that, man, I be in the house.”

Before the Heat made him a superstar, Butler was already on the path of recognition during his stint with Chicago Bulls. Jimmy spoke about his first impression of Chicago as well.

Man, cold. What I can remember, I went a little bit, like right when I got drafted I was up there… What I really remember is when we went to training camp, because you know I started in a lock out year… It was cold because we started training camp in like November. So it was snow on the ground, it was COLD cold.”

Next season will be crucial for Butler, as he now has NBA Finals experience under his belt. But what should fans expect from the Miami Heat as a whole?
