George himself seems pretty confident about a comeback year. He shared his plans with the fans in an episode of  “All the Smoke” podcast.

I’m ready, I’m coming back. I’m back with my trainer that I had in my MVP season, I’m back with him. I get a summer to train to work on my game going into the season. I’m locked in like as locked in as you can be and I’m motivated.”

George further shared his training routine in hopes to make a major comeback this season.

I listen to Kobe on a daily basis… I put that on when I am working out. That’s like I don’t listen to the soundtrack, I put that Kobe motivational speech sh*t on. And I just listen to him talk while I am lifting, while I am on the court and that’s where I’m at right now.

“I’m back, I’m back motivated, I’m as healthy as I have been in a long time and I’m in position to do it. So I’m on motherf**ker’s as*es.”

If George can perform at an elite level and couple that with Kawhi Leonard‘s talent, Clippers can achieve what they rightfully wanted to do, with their 2019 offseason moves. However, only time will tell if PG can return to his glory days.
