Former NBA player Jalen Rose believed that LeBron James will not get another shot at the Championship again if the season doesn’t resume.
Two years after winning the title with the Cavaliers, James signed for the Lakers in an attempt to add rings to his illustrious career. Likewise, two years after Kobe Bryant’s retirement, the Lakers signed James as a superstar to build the team around.
LeBron James & Los Angeles Lakers look favorites this season, but it might not be the same

While James didn’t have much support in the first season, the arrival of Anthony Davis changed it for them. With the duo building a great partnership, the Lakers have looked one of the top contenders for the title before the NBA had to suspend its league. However, it might not be the same for them next season with the average age on the higher side.

“You look at LeBron James in his 17th year… At his age, when you build a squad around him, of course Anthony Davis is an anchor,” Rose said on Thursday’s episode of ESPN’s Get Up. “But then, all of a sudden, you look deeper into the roster. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Avery Bradley, Danny Green, Rajon Rondo — they don’t have long-term situations with the Lakers. They were brought there to try to win a championship this year.”
“This is LeBron’s window. If [the Lakers] don’t get it done this year, I don’t believe it happens.”

Rose went on to say that teams like Los Angeles Clippers and Milwaukee Bucks are better equipped for the future. And it would make it even more difficult for James.
“If this squad isn’t playing, what happens next year to a Kyle Kuzma, who really didn’t fit in with Anthony Davis and LeBron because he got injured as the season started. So for LeBron, other teams are ascending. The Clippers in their own building, the Bucks in the Eastern Conference with Giannis, who’s probably going to win the MVP. So absolutely, this is LeBron’s window. If (the Lakers) don’t get it done this year, I don’t believe it happens.”
