The Los Angeles Lakers clinched the NBA title against Miami Heat with such ease. And they have one veteran to thank for it, LeBron James. Although his supporting cast deserves credit too, without his leadership, this wouldn’t have been possible. In his 17 years as part of the NBA, this was LeBron’s fourth championship, fourth Finals MVP, and 10th appearance in the NBA Finals.
LeBron has been an enigma for the league and for the world. How can a 36-year-old athlete play like he is in his prime? With the way LeBron is playing, it looks like he wants to put the GOAT debate to rest. Earning more rings and breaking more records, is LeBron James’ reign going to be eternal?
The Lakers’ Quinn Cook has played against King James during his time with the Golden State Warriors. Winning the 2018 NBA Championship against the Cleveland Cavaliers taught him a lot about his rival. However, now that he has LeBron in his team, the point guard revealed how James carried the team to the title.

Quinn Cook first talked to ‘Fat Joe’ about how everyone was expected the Clippers to be facing them in the Western Conference Finals. And how that was going to be considered the real NBA Finals. Although a little disappointed, the Lakers were also somewhat relieved because that made their chance at the title easier.
Talking about Bron, Cook said, “Bron, he was my vet. I started my rookie year in Cleveland. So him and J.R., I am their rook. They were my vet. So, we’ve always had that bond. I’ve known him [LeBron] throughout the years. He’s locked in on a different level. When these playoffs started this year, he was locked on another level.”

Quinn elaborated on how much work LeBron puts into himself. “You know what’s crazy? Bro, he works hard as shit. He works so f****** hard. He takes everything to the max like his regimen, his diet, his knowledge of the game… His mindset and his IQ is on another level.”
