The Golden State Warriors will have all the eyes on them when the 2020-21 season starts. In all probability, they will gain a stronghold with a stable roster as they come back. The missing pieces in the puzzle are slowly getting in place for them as the key players are coming back to practice.

The Warriors are in a good position, thanks to the NBA draft lottery that went their way and the 2019-20 season that didn’t. They have the #2 pick option and as an alternate, they might trade the pick (probably with Andrew Wiggins) to sign another star as they now do not have Kevin Durant. In the coming off-season, we will know their choice, but for now, they have their #11 back.

The team’s head coach happily said in an interview, “This was his first practice coming off an ACL injury. I didn’t expect him to be in top form and he was not. But he moved well and it was a great first step. Klay got a lot of good work in and was able to gauge where he is right now.”

What lays ahead for the Golden State Warriors’ guard?

Before getting down with the injury, the three-time NBA Champion had given GSW a series of consistent years. For five years consecutively, he averaged 20 points or above per game in the regular season. He made for an integral part of the Splash Brothers who redefined the Warriors post-2014. The time now demands Klay to redefine his own self as he gets back on the court.

It is yet not sure that he will join the 5-on-5 scrimmage that the GSW will play. But it is sure that we will soon see Klay, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green playing together. For Klay, Curry’s resurrection from the 2012 ankle injury can work as an inspiration. Curry bounced back from the injury and the rest is history.
