The Los Angeles Lakers soared inside the Orlando bubble to clinch the 2020 NBA Championship. LeBron James and co. went on a historic run and also snapped the Warriors’ conference title streak during the process. But Steph Curry isn’t a sore loser and instead feels happy for his colleagues for achieving success.

“L.A. played amazing. Like LeBron, AD [Anthony Davis], I was happy for them, obviously. When you know what it takes to win a championship, whether you’re in the fight or not, you appreciate that final moment when a team accomplishes their goal,” Curry told The Undefeated

The Warriors enjoyed a long layoff compared to the teams that competed in the bubble. Moreover, watching others battling it out while they had to stay back added to the competitive fire in the entire team.

“And it’s almost inspiring and motivating for us to get back and look forward to this year,” added Curry.

Furthermore, the 2x MVP gave credit where it’s due. The bubble commenced and concluded without a single reported COVID-19 case, an extraordinary feat pulled off by the NBA

“You include just what it took to get the bubble off and what that sacrifice was being down there for however many days. I’m glad they got through the season. I’m glad it worked. And L.A. did what they had to do and got it done,” Curry mentioned.

The Lakers surely accomplished what they set out to do. However, the Warriors suffered a contradicting result as they registered one of the worst regular-season records in franchise history.

Steph Curry has a lot on his plate ahead of the upcoming season

The Warriors were right in tune for asserting their return to the league, but Klay Thompson’s injury leaves them in a tricky situation. Of course, they’re still a superteam with Steph Curry running the lines alongside Draymond Green.

On the whole, the season calls for Steph Curry to further elevate his game and he’s rigorously training to live up to the hope. The Warriors can certainly rise to the top, but do they have enough to overthrow LA’s dominance?
