Draymond Green got into a chat with Mark Medina of USA Today to reflect his excitement on working with TNT. While the show will talk about the major events that occurred while the NBA was suspended, Green is not jumping over the roof knowing that he would be working alongside Charles Barkley

The pair have a long-standing verbal feud with both hurling comments at each other. He’s not a friend of mine,” Green told USA TODAY. “He’s not someone whose opinion matters to me. So there is not a need to hash anything out.”

Green’s performance this season did not entertain Barkley. He explicitly called him out for underperforming when two star-players of the team were out due to injury. Both parties have thrown several insults at each other. But, they would have to get along for the sake of harmony and the success of the new series.

Moreover, Green, a three-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors, also indicated that he is not looking at ending his career anytime soon. “I think I still have another six or seven years left before I’m ready to hang them up,” he said.

“But you can never start working on different avenues too soon. Just being a current player, this opportunity was something that was exciting and unique to me.”

The return of Steph Curry and Klay Thompson would boost the Warriors next season. Green has thrived playing alongside the ‘Splash Brothers’ and has established a prominent role for himself in the team. When the 2020-21 season begins late this year, the 30-year-old will be eying to redeem himself over a disappointing display of basketball in the previous season.
