Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are out of the Playoffs as the #1 seed in the East. Moreover, they lost to a much lower-seeded team in the Miami Heat. The bitter defeat has left the basketball world stunned, and rumors are piling up regarding Giannis’ departure from the Bucks.
Although the Greek Freak does not enter free agency until 2021, the Bucks can never be 100% sure. Giannis will most likely bag his second MVP this season. But all his efforts will go in vain as the Bucks are already on their way home.
If the Bucks do trade Giannis, the Heat are the front runners to land Giannis in South Beach. Moreover, they are one of the few teams in the NBA that have the assets to build a trade package for Giannis.

The Bucks do not have to hit the panic button right now, but if Giannis does leave, they probably would like something in return. So what could the Miami Heat offer Milwaukee for the league MVP?
Well, a possible trade package built around Heat center Bam Adebayo could get the job done. The Heat will send Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro, Kendrick Nunn, and Andre Iguodala to Bucks in exchange for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
According to ESPN’s trade machine, this trade will enhance the Heat’s record by seven wins. However, the Bucks would see a negative impact in their win totals, nine to be precise. Considering the fact that Bam and Herro are still young, this trade could be the best-case scenario for them.
It will prevent them from undergoing a complete rebuild and they will still be able to compete for the title.
Will Giannis Antetokounmpo leave the Bucks?
Following the embarrassing 4-1 defeat at the ECSF, Giannis made it clear he will not be requesting a trade as of now. But his decision might change when the Playoffs are over. The Greek Freak will have more time to think about his future. And he can make a calculated decision regarding his future with the Bucks.
