LeBron James recently clinched the fourth NBA title of his fabulous career. However, the King is yet to stop and still has plenty of gas left in his tank.
Next season, James will enter year number 18 of his career. But there are still people who don’t give LeBron the appreciation he deserves for his phenomenal career.
Former NBA player Baron Davis joined the “Load Management” podcast by Complex, where he talked about if ‘Bron is appreciated by the fans.

“Absolutely not… He is just not appreciated. It’s like, is good like, LeBron, he thrives off haters, right? Jordan thrives off haters, the greats thrive off haters and being hated. You know what I mean, but ridiculed and you know what I mean, and kind of pent up for, you know, dissection.”
Even after reaching such great heights in the league, LBJ is always criticized for one thing or another. However, in a few years, he’ll be gone from the game of basketball. This would leave an everlasting impact on the league.
Maybe during that time, people will realize the greatness of LeBron James and his contributions in the league. Right now, James will be busy preparing for the next season of his career in an attempt to defend the 2020 NBA championship.

For the 2020-21 season, the biggest goal for LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers is to stay as the champions of the world. They will have an opportunity to defend their title and if all works out perfectly, the Lakers have a talented roster.
But they do need to make a few improvements to improve their chances. They would most probably need a quality point guard to fill in the spot of Rondo, if he decides to leave.

Apart from that, they are in a dire need of a quality 3-pt shooter. If the Lakers can figure out a plan for these issues, they should be good to go. Moreover, having a better team around will enhance LeBron’s chances of getting a few more rings.
Even if he wins two more rings, it will drastically improve his legacy.
