When the Cleveland Cavaliers won the championship, it was largely because of LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. The talk about what went down between the two is making rounds even today. Why? Well, because the two are constantly at each other’s throats for something or the other. There is often a new storyline to follow about their love-hate relationship.
Remember the time LeBron left the Cleveland fans heartbroken when he left them for Miami Heat? Well, he was tired of putting his heart and soul into a team that wasn’t giving him a title. However, even after winning two championships with the Heat, something seemed incomplete. James still wanted to fulfill his dream of getting a championship for his home team.
What made Bron come back? With the Cavaliers, he found Kyrie Irving, who is now one of the best in the league. And he knew that this was the man who was going to help him cross the finish line for the Cavs.

James was right, and the two ended the 52-year title drought for the Cavaliers. However, the biggest surprise was that ever since their stint together, it was rumored that the two didn’t get along and that became evident over the years as well.

It seems like, Irving in particular still holds some kind of resentment towards James. From time to time, he has taken subtle shots at the legend. What’s the reason behind that?
Former Cleveland Cavaliers Brendan Haywood gave another interesting insight about their relationship while in conversation with Ryan Hollins on Instagram Live. He said, “Because Kyrie started to see that special treatment that he never got — Randy Mims gets to fly on the team plane; this is ‘Bron’s best friend?… He gets to team meetings?“
