The Miami Heat President, Eric Woolworth, shared his optimism regarding the NBA 2020-21 season in an interview conducted after the team’s Tuesday scrimmage.
The NBA 2019-20 season finally resumed after its suspension in March. This occurred after players tested positive for the coronavirus. Popularly known as the ‘Orlando Bubble’, it is where the scrimmages are currently taking place. This solution has come up keeping in mind the social distancing norms that have to be followed. The players have to abide by a Safety Protocol Handbook at all times.

In the interview, Eric said,” We plan on playing next season in front of fans, and plan on having a sold-out facility, just like we’ve had since going back to 2009, for all our games,“. He emphasizes that the NBA community will do its best to conduct the next season safely but hopefully with the audience around the court.
“And I think it speaks volumes to the amount of interest that people in Miami have in our team, but also in the commitment that we have in the community, and to make sure we do play next year in front of our fans and figure out how to do it safely.” said Eric.
He even makes an announcement about the tentative dates for next season. “We have been working really, really hard on the heath-and-safety plan, which I’m sure we’ll be rolling out some time this fall,” he said. “And right now, I think time is on our side. We’ve got a tentative date of December first, but that could slide, and might be January before we start.”
