The Los Angeles Clippers can finally breathe a sigh of relief. After a humiliating defeat against the underdogs Denver Nuggets in game 2, the Clippers managed to get the lead again and the series now stands at 2-1. It’s quite surprising that the Nuggets are making sure the Clippers have a hard time. They have fought tooth and nail the past two games and have shut down every critic that believed they wouldn’t stand a chance against the second-seeded team.

Well, it looks like a certain NBA analyst is showering praises at the Nuggets center and downplaying the Clippers intensely.

Kawhi Leonard‘s defense and Paul George‘s stellar shooting score sealed the deal. However, it looks like the Denver Nuggets are actually the ones winning hearts. On Undisputed, Skip Bayless bashes the Clippers and explained, “Once again, the Clippers just can’t quite take the Denver Nuggets seriously enough. The Clippers clearly last night did not come out with the urgency, the tenacity, the intensity that Denver came out with.”

He went on to praise the Nuggets and said, “Denver just attacked them. Denver played harder and scrapped harder. And it was like the ‘are we there yet’ syndrome, where the clippers would make a couple of shots maybe get a quick little lead, and then all of a sudden here would come Denver! Denver! Denver! Boom! Boom Boom!”.

Nikola Jokic was just too much to handle

Nikola Jokic was absolutely phenomenal. He bagged 32 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Bayless could not stop raving about him and said, “There was that moment with 3:34 left in the second quarter, Jokic nailed another big 3. They don’t have an answer for Jokić, and the truth is nobody in this league does when he’s cooking.”

If it weren’t for the inability of other players to contribute, the landscape of this matchup could have been different. Do you think the Nuggets can overpower the Kawhi Leonard and Paul George Duo?
