NBA on Wednesday indefinitely suspended the whole league for at least 30 days amid the threat from Coronavirus. This sudden chain reaction was the courtesy of Utah Jazz’s Rudy Gobert who was found positive along with his all-star teammate Denovan Mitchell, later. Not to say but these events led to quick actions from the NBA hierarchy. Adam Silver, himself lead the charge and deeply emphasized that this suspension is for the public.
In a letter addressed to the fans, Silver assured that this halt in the season is to safeguard and well being of all. He further clarified that plans of refunding or honoring tickets at a different date are being made once the season resumes or if it’s safe for all concerned. In this letter, he also mentioned that this suspension will last for at least 30 days.
