Following LeBron James‘ second departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers, the franchise is struggling to get back into the groove. They haven’t even touched the 20 win mark in the past 2 seasons and have hence missed the Playoffs.
Moreover, it seems like they will be rebuilding for the next few seasons, to say the least. However, a bright spot for the franchise is the 32-year-old Kevin Love. Love played a critical role in the 2016 Championship run along with Irving and James.
But since then, due to injuries, it seems like K-Love has fallen off of a cliff. Regardless of his decline, Cavaliers rookie Isaac Okoro believes Love still has some gas left in his tank.

Cavs Rookie Isaac Okoro Praises his teammate
The 5th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, Isaac Okoro, could be the future of the franchise. However, as of now, Kevin Love is without a doubt the best player on the team. Okoro praised the veteran in an interview following a training session.
“I didn’t think Kevin Love still had bounce. He’s still getting up there, still dunking right now. He surprised me with a couple dunks that he had. Caught a put-back dunk one time. That surprised me for sure”

Love might not be the dominant force that he once was, but he still gets the job done. Last season, he nearly averaged a double double with 17.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game.
Can the 5-time All-Star turn back the clock this season? Cavs fans will certainly hope so.

The Cavs are stuck in a weird position as of now, and it was not unexpected. When you lose a player of LeBron’s caliber, it is only natural for the team to take a few years to get back on track. Furthermore, the entire Cavs roster was built to suit LeBron’s style of play.
