The 2016-19 Golden State Warriors were one of the most exciting teams to watch in the history of NBA. It was none other than Kevin Durant who made that possible.
KD joined the Warriors in 2016 with the ambition of winning championships with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green. And he accomplished his dream by winning two rings in just three years with the Warriors.
The Dubs were unstoppable in that era, but all good things end one day, and so did this dynasty. Durant left the Warriors after being stopped by the Toronto Raptors from a three-peat in the 2019 NBA Finals.

Kevin Durant talks about the Golden State Warriors
Even though Durant has left the Dubs, he has always been outspoken about his former teammates. KD has done it again, and he talked freely about the best aspects of his former teammates on The Corp Podcast.
“Steph is somebody that’s so skilled at the game and his methods on how he gets those shots off and his balance when he’s shooting those shots and his approach on his craft is a little different from the normal,” said Durant on Curry.
“Klay is just somebody who’s a machine he never stops, you know moving around on the floor, his jump shot is so quick, his feet is always on time,” added KD on Klay.
The Slim Reaper also mentioned about Draymond Green being a reliable guy on the floor.
“He was kind of the glue, if you seen a fire out there on defense, he was going to be the one to cover it up.
“For example, If I was in the post against a guy that was guy bigger and stronger than me, I knew for a fact that Draymond was going to come over to have my back and help me out.”

Before joining GSW, Durant was confident that his talent would mesh well with the team. As it turns out, KD was right, and the team ran like a well-oiled machine.
The next season is important for both Durant and his former team. Durant will be in search of yet another championship, along with Kyrie Irving. On the other hand, GSW needs to regroup after a disastrous 2019-20 season,
