Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant was among those in the NBA to have come in contact with coronavirus. He was among the names that came out a few weeks after Rudy Gobert had become the league’s first coronavirus in March.
Talking about his health in a recent interview with The Undefeated, Durant said: “I feel good. I didn’t have any symptoms so I am good. I couldn’t leave the house. I knew things would change. The unknown was definitely difficult to deal with. But other than that, I was great.
Talking about his initial emotions when he came to know about the virus, he said: “I was shocked. And then I was curious. I wanted to know what it meant. What is the virus about? I started to get information about it more and more. It calmed me down. I was just more curious to what I was dealing with and how I could fight it myself.

Durant also talked about how his foundation has been contributing to coronavirus relief. Only the previous week, he said, they did an event in Maryland feeding 100 families.
“We’re trying to do our part somehow, some way. But I didn’t want to tell you that. I just wanted to do stuff and not say much about it,” he said.
Kevin Durant will not be returning this season for Brooklyn Nets
Durant suffered an Achilles injury during the last season’s finals playing for Golden State Warriors. While the Nets signed him last summer, they knew his first season at the club would be in rehabilitation. However, with an unexpected mid-season break, many started thinking if he could return this season after a delayed restart.

But he confirmed during his interview with The Undefeated that he wouldn’t be coming back this season. The Nets are among the 22 teams that will be returning to finish the 2019/20 season as per the format that the NBA Board of Governors approved on Thursday.
All the games will take place at the Walt Disney World Resort near Orlando. Brooklyn Nets are among the nine teams from the Eastern Conference. Each team will play eight regular-season games before the playoffs for seeding purposes.
