The Brooklyn Nets face the Atlanta Hawks tonight, in their third clash of the season. The Hawks play the host this time, as the Nets travel to play at the State Farm Arena for their 7:30 pm EST encounter.
The Nets are already playing their 20th game of the season. They haven’t completely lived up to expectations so far and are sitting with an 11-8 record currently. The Nets beat the Heat twice in a row, two wins they badly needed following two embarrassing losses against the Cavs.
The Hawks beat the Clippers last night, but Kawhi Leonard and Paul George were both absent. But with that win, they have now won four of their last five games and they will be in good spirits tonight.

Brooklyn Nets expected lineup
The Nets have just two players on their injury list, one of whom is Spencer Dinwiddie (knee) who is ruled out for the season. But not having Nicolas Claxton (knee) hurts them since they have a lack of big men. The rest of the team is healthy.
They will have an unchanged lineup featuring Kyrie Irving and James Harden as the guards, Joe Harris and Kevin Durant as the forwards, and DeAndre Jordan as the center.
Atlanta Hawks expected lineup
Cameron Reddish (Achilles) hasn’t returned for the Hawks yet and has been listed as questionable. The Hawks will be eager for Danilo Gallinari to gain full fitness so he can return to the starting lineup. In their last few games, he has been eased in and has had short cameos.
Their lineup will feature Trae Young and Kevin Huerter as their guards, De’Andre Hunter and John Collins as their guards, with Clint Capela as their center.

Predictions
Despite being the underdogs, the Hawks will fight hard. They beat them once before and will be eager to do it again. Although the Nets have added James Harden since then, they have lost Jarrett Allen. The Hawks’ center Capela is in incredible form, and Jordan will have a tough time neutralizing that threat.

There is a slender chance for the Hawks, but the Nets’ offense could overpower the Hawks. It is likely to be a close game and is definitely going to be a treat to watch.
