Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo ranks third in the league when it comes to free-throw attempts per game. But his free-throw percentage is the worst among the top 15 players with the most attempts. Since last season, his free-throw shooting has got a lot worse, prompting his brother Thanasis to come up with unique ideas to help him.
During their game against the Raptors tonight, Giannis went to the line 13 times. Whenever he would take a free-throw, his brother, from the sidelines, would knock on the hardwood. It looked like a superstitious way to help Giannis, however, he only made seven out of his 13 attempts, which is just 53%.

He is shooting just 63% from the line this season, the exact same as the previous season. This is a big area of improvement for Giannis, especially since he averages 10 attempts per game.
Giannis Antetokounmpo unable to help Bucks get back to winning ways
The Bucks’ struggles continued tonight as they fell to the Toronto Raptors. Giannis could not guide them to a win again, making it their fifth loss in a row. This is also their second loss to the Bucks in two days.
The loss of Jrue Holiday has been the main reason for this collapse. But they should still be able to play better, if not win. They still have their best player in Giannis and second best player in Khris Middleton fit and playing. Surrounded by the pieces they have, this five-game losing streak is unacceptable for a team that is trying to contend.

They have the second game of a back-to-back tomorrow, as they host the Thunder. It is a chance to get revenge, after losing to them on Sunday. The Thunder are ranked 14th in the Western Conference and were still able to beat the Bucks. Fans will be hoping that they can see a strong reaction from the team tomorrow.
They will also expect Giannis to step up as a leader who can win them games. He has had a few good individual performances but his inability to lead them to wins has been criticized. The next few games will be his chance to prove these critics wrong.
