After a loss in Game 1, the Los Angeles Lakers have redeemed themselves with a win tonight. Leading them from the front was LeBron James, as usual. Not only did he get the win but also reached another milestone.
Even though he made just one three-pointer all game, that helped him climb up to the second spot on the all-time playoff threes, crossing Ray Allen. He entered the game on level terms with Allen, with both on 385 each. Despite not being a shooter per se, LeBron has achieved this through not only his all-round ability but also his longevity.

He’s not the best shooter on the team but when he gets going, the opposition cannot stop him. His confidence to take and make logo threes occasionally is also an impressive attribute in his game.
Can LeBron James lead the Lakers to a series win?
Despite some struggles, the Lakers edged out the Rockets in the fourth quarter to take the win. They had a 21 point lead in the first half but the Rockets’ three-point barrage trimmed it down. Throughout the game, the Lakers were unable to stop the Rockets’ outside shooting. But to their relief, in the fourth quarter, the Rockets starting piling on the misses and the Lakers were able to seal the win.
LeBron had a passive Game 1, finishing with just 20 points. But tonight he showed more initiative and looked more aggressive. He finished with 28 points, 11 rebounds, and nine assists. He also had a whopping four steals and two blocks.

The Lakers showed more hustle in Game 2 after a poor performance in Game 1. Going against an opposition of such high caliber, they cannot afford to relax and have to go all out in each game. The Lakers need to build on tonight’s victory and repeat the same in the games to come.
