The Boston Celtics crushed the Toronto Raptors to end their unbeaten run. Young star Jaylen Brown ran the show, scoring 20 points, and going 4/8 from deep. The Celtics defended well throughout the game and didn’t let the Raptors breathe on offense. They were also helped by the Raptors terrible shooting, as they shot 26.3% from three.
After the game, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins called Brown the best all-around shooting guard in the league. He said he should have made it to the All-Star game as well.

Is Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown the best all-around shooting guard now?
Brown has developed into a promising two-way player. His scoring ability has been getting better, and at the same time, he is improving as a defender too. He is already one of the best defensive wings in the league now. However, he is far from the best.
Paul George, Jimmy Butler, James Harden even Victor Oladipo at his best are all better all-round players than Brown. Klay Thompson could also be added to that list but there’s no guarantee he returns from his injury to how good he was.
Brown not making the All-Star game is not a big deal, considering 30 points per game scorer, Bradley Beal was snubbed. However, Brown’s trajectory only looks to be going upward so if he continues to improve, he could potentially make his first All-Star appearance in the upcoming season.
Irrespective, Brown has been a team player always and will be only focused on the playoffs for now. The Celtics are now 3-2 in the bubble. They could have arguably been 4-1, are after a lot of bad calls in the game against the Bucks, but they still fought and only fell short by 4. The loss against Miami was a bad one. They were without their best player Jimmy Butler yet the Celtics couldn’t outdo them.

Their last three games should be a breeze for them. They face the Magic tomorrow. Then they face the Grizzlies and the Wizards in a back to back to wrap up their seedings games. The Celtics will be looking to make no mistake and carry this momentum into the playoffs.
