Kemba Walker praised Tatum in the press conference later, saying, “He’s a superstar. Jaylen’s a superstar as well. I love being around those two guys.”
Tatum was later asked how important it is to have Walker on the team.
“It’s big,” Tatum said. “Obviously we know all that he’s accomplished over the years, all that he’s capable of. He’s been one of the best players in the league for a long time now. For him to come into a situation where winning is really most important, and he sees other guys are on the rise and capable, he just wants to win. Night in and night out. Whether he plays good or doesn’t, if we win, he’s the happiest guy on the team.”
Boston Celtics trio show out again
Tatum was the star, but he was supported by Walker and Brown too. The trio combined for 75 points, with Walker scoring 22 and Brown scoring 20. The team stepped up after losing Gordon Hayward to injury. The recipe to the Celtics’ success has been their teamwork. And their selfless trio has always put the team first, which has maximized their wins.

After being down 18-31 in the first quarter, the Celtics fought back. They got the lead early in the second quarter and never let Philly come back. The 76ers were attacking through Joel Embiid, and the Celtics didn’t have an answer for him. But they could keep the other 76ers in check and extend their lead.
After losing Ben Simmons, the 76ers were weakened and Celtics have made the most out of their misery. The Celtics are now 2-0 and look like they can sweep the 76ers. If they advance to the next round, they face the Toronto Raptors in the Conference Semifinals. They are one of the most dangerous teams in the East, and the Celtics will have to be at their best.
