For many people around the world and especially in NBA, the word GOAT and LeBron James are synonymous with each other. James is not just known for his legendary plays on the court. He has another important side that brings out the humanitarian inside him. In 2011, as part of State Farm’s 26 Second Initiative, the four-time NBA champion got to know that a student drops out of high school every 26 seconds. And after knowing this, he knew that he wanted to help prevent it.

Studies showed him that children reach the major hurdle in their educational level around the third grade. David James, a superintendent of Akron public schools, said, “There is a lot of research that tells us where kids are at third grade in terms of reading level [indicates] where they will be at 30.”
