Kentavious Caldwell-Pope: Proving Lakers fans wrong
When KCP arrived in Los Angeles, GM Rob Pelinka said he was sent by God to help the Lakers. But in his first two seasons, he was disappointing and fans were annoyed since he was paid almost $30 million for two years. But since the start of this season, KCP has been on a mission to prove those critics wrong.
KCP’s scoring has reduced with the arrival of Anthony Davis, but he has had the most efficient season of his career and has carried this form into the playoffs too. Not only is he providing crucial buckets for the Lakers but has also been a solid defender.
