The Golden State Warriors had one of the worst games of their season on Friday. After being down by points at halftime, Stephen Curry was yelling at his teammates to step up.

Curry is one of the most cool-headed players, so that was a rare instance. During an interview later, teammate Draymond Green was asked if Steph had ever yelled at him similarly.

“Steph has yelled at me a few times about shooting the ball,” he said. Teams often leave Draymond open at the three-point line because of his past record. He is a career 30% shooter from the three-point line. But Curry still urges him to shoot the open shot, which Green has avoided often.

Later, he mentioned that Curry also yelled at him during the famous Warriors vs Thunder game from 2016. “Remember when I got into with Steve (in OKC)? He yelled at me right then, too. He was sitting right next to me and stood up and yelled at me,” Green said.

Can the Warriors avoid the wrath of Stephen Curry in their upcoming games?

Unfortunately for the Warriors, the schedule is only getting tougher for them. After facing the #3 team in the West, they are now up against the #1 Jazz followed by the #3 Lakers. While they have beaten the Lakers before, winning against the Jazz seems like an insurmountable task.

Losing to such teams isn’t the worst thing, but playing the way they did in the previous game was poor. The whole team had a disappointing game on both ends, especially Curry himself. But he has bailed the team enough times, and he is allowed to have off games too. The Warriors will aim to put in more effort tonight when they face the Jazz. Otherwise, they might face another heated halftime huddle.

Will the NBA’s new play-in tournament favor the Warriors?

Last season, during the bubble, the NBA introduced a play-in tournament to decide the eighth seed. But this season, they have expanded it. Both seventh and eighth seeds will be decided through the tournament. The tenth seeds taking part could give the Warriors a second chance to qualify for the playoffs if they falter in the regular season.

It is an interesting format, and fans will be eager to see how it plays out.
