The GOAT debate is the most ravaging subject when it comes to NBA conversations. The sport has been played professionally for over 70 years, but two men: Michael Jordan and LeBron James, are the ones who command the most attention in such debates. There are endless comparisons between the two, with fans never being able to come to a consensus.

During a recent interview, James’ former teammate Kyle Korver revealed LeBron’s most impressive attribute. And while doing that, Korver once again brought up the comparison with Jordan. He said, “His greatest attribute is his ability to do it again tomorrow. His ability to recover in mind, body and spirit on a day-to-day basis is it’s out of this world.”

Korver then brought up the comparison with MJ. “Michael Jordan, he had to take a break in the middle after three (rings),” Korver said. “And I’m not here to debate, Michael and LeBron, but it’s a lot to be not just putting in the time, but to take the scrutiny that he does.”

While LeBron is often scrutinized for his negative Finals record, going to the NBA Finals 10 times is a massive achievement. His dominant run in the East is something that players would dream to replicate. And to do it without taking a break like Michael Jordan, is what helps his case to be the GOAT.

With the commencement of the 2021-22 season, LeBron James entered Year 19 of his NBA career. Very few players in the history of the game have been able to last this long in the league. But what sets him apart is how he has been MVP caliber in every single season. Players often become role players at this stage, but LeBron has once again begun a new campaign looking like the best player in the league.

So far, Bron is averaging averaged 24.8 points, seven assists and 5.5 rebounds in six games with the Lakers. Without him, the purple and gold have twice been embarrassed by the OKC Thunder, who have the worst record in the league. In his absence, the team looks lost, and that is a testament to his greatness, even with him being just a month away from turning 37 years old.
