The Los Angeles Lakers play their rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers, in less than 24 hours. Utah Jazz vs New Orleans Pelicans might be the first game. However, the presence of LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Kawhi Leonard is enough to win over the crowd. But it has been announced that the Clippers will not be at full strength. The Lakers might also miss a few players.
Mark Medina, from USA Today, confirmed what the Clippers fans had been fearing. Along with Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell and Patrick Beverley also will be missing against the Lakers. The trio are yet to clear protocol after each of them had to leave the bubble. The Clippers will be forced to start Reggie Jackson at point guard unless Doc Rivers plays Landry Shamet, who hasn’t had a single minute in the scrimmages.

Los Angeles Lakers have their fair share of doubts
Harrison Faigen from SB Nation revealed that the Lakers don’t have a confirmed squad yet. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (right rib contusion), LeBron James (sore right groin) and Kyle Kuzma (right ankle sprain) are all probable players. A lot of players on the probable list do end up playing, but Frank Vogel will have to careful.
The biggest scare, however, is Anthony Davis, who has been listed as questionable, who is suffering from an eyesore. But he was seen in practice, sporting the classic Kareem Abdul-Jabbar glasses look.

The Lakers have the top seed virtually locked. Out of the eight games, they just need three wins to confirm it. The Clippers, however, don’t have the second seed guaranteed. The Nuggets are just 1.5 games behind and could jump over them if the Clippers slip.

If Davis doesn’t play for the Lakers, he will be a big miss. The Clippers don’t have anyone who can match up to his physicality and he would have been the X-Factor for them. The Clippers will be in more trouble, however, considering they miss a trio of vital players. As the Los Angeles rivals lock horns at 9 pm, the whole world will be tuned in to see the King vs the Klaw.
