The Los Angeles Lakers registered a win against the Denver Nuggets in thrilling fashion. Kyle Kuzma delivered the dagger with just seconds remaining on the clock, to hand the Lakers their victory. The team would have enjoyed the win as they broke the streak of three straight losses. We even think there might have been a celebratory party in the suite room of Anthony Davis

Well, there is a reason why we suspect the Lakers might have gathered in Davis’ room to celebrate their victory. Yahoo Sports NBA Insider Chris Haynes reported an interesting piece of news from the Bubble, which leads to these speculations.

Haynes wrote that the Lakers are using AD’s room as a gathering spot for special events. So it means that it is where the team gets together and has fun. Moreover, Haynes produced his piece with enough evidence to prove that Davis’ room is the hotspot for the Lakers.

The team used AD’s room to organize a Madden tournament and watch the ‘Verzuz’  rap battle between Snoop Dogg, 2 Chain and Rick Ross. Naturally, AD was asked to comment on the matter, which he did. Here’s what Anthony Davis had to say about the team using his room as a gathering spot:

“I’m one of the few who has a suite and I’m the tech guy of the team who knows how to set up all the devices and connect them to the TV,” Davis told Yahoo Sports. “LeBron [James] is a big Snoop Dogg fan and actually a big DMX fan, and so my room made sense. It started with that and then we just kept it going from there.”

LeBron James drops a major truth bomb about the Lakers

The Lakers might have clinched the #1 seed in the west, but they really aren’t dominating on the court as much as we’d hoped. Ever since the seeding games began, the team has been struggling to find their groove.

LeBron James is bold enough to admit his team’s shortcomings. In the post-game conference after a win over the Nuggets, James expressed that he and the team needs to adapt to the bubble from a mental standpoint. Moreover, he mentioned how the Lakers are not really not locked in ahead of the postseason, which is fast approaching.

“I don’t think we’re at 10 and we shouldn’t be at 10,” LeBron said, about the Lakers’ playoff preparations. “Because there’s a different type of preparation that goes into playoff games. You spend hours and hours on teams because you know you’re going to be locked in with them, at least for four games.

“My legs have gotten better and my game has improved (as) I’m getting more comfortable with the bubble. As far as the mental side of it, I’m not there personally. I don’t think our team is there (yet) but we will be.”
