Not everyone is a fan of Michael Jordan. There are guys who have been rivals on the court and still carry the same shrugging attitude even now. Upon the release of MJ’s new documentary, his former foe Reggie Miller had some words to say about ‘His Airness’.
Miller played with the Indiana Pacers for 18 years in the NBA. He had a very competitive attitude and would never back down against his opponents. He now works as an NBA commentator for TNT. Making a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Miller was given the task of watching ‘The Last Dance,’ the previous night.

Reggie Miller might punch Michael Jordan in the face
Miller’s duels with MJ was epic. Even though the Pacers could never win the championship with him, they often troubled Jordan’s Bulls in the regular season. This rivalry evolved majorly, and Miller to this day carries a part of it with him.
Coming on to the Dan Patrick show, he was never hesitant in sending out his views on Michael Jordan and his documentary. Miller is also expected to make his appearance in the upcoming episodes. However, his unwillingness to be a part of the documentary was evident in his words.
“I tried to fight it, I didn’t want to do it. I had everyone from the league office saying you need to be a part of this and everyone at Turner telling me I need to be a part of this and I was like ‘no, no, no, go. No, no, no, go. No, I don’t need to be a part of it.’
But he also weighed in on how much he loved their battles. He even mentioned how Michael Jordan was a class apart from the others. However, the best part of the show came when Dan Patrick asked the 54-year-old what he would do if he saw Jordan now.

“I might punch him.”
“Are you being serious?” Patrick questioned.
“Man, there was a lot of stuff being thrown back and forth,” replied Miller.

He even explained how he never purely hated Michael Jordan for his titles or his success. “I’m not hating, it’s more out of hurtful respect because, for those of us who were called by central casting to be in this movie versus the Bulls in the ’90s, we lived it. I lived it.”
The hateful past must have triggered Miller’s mind when he was speaking to the film crew. Nobody likes to lose and in this case, Miller was in the center of it all.
