The Los Angeles Lakers made an incredible comeback in Game 2 of the Playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers. Not only did they bring the series to a tie but also stunned everyone with their technique to stop Damian Lillard in the paint. This was an aspect that they really struggled with in Game 1. However, it now seems like they have it under control. Anthony Davis led the team with his whopping 31 points, 11 rebounds, and tight defense.

The Lakers’ players are in high spirits after their big win. In a press conference after the game, Davis made some friendly pokes at his fellow teammate and Lakers’ Star, LeBron James.

On several occasions, Anthony Davis and LeBron James have showcased their friendship outside the court. Their chemistry and bond are not limited to the game and this becomes evident each time they are in each other’s company.

In an interview after Thursday’s victory, Davis took a funny jab at Lebron’s longevity in the league. Even though it has only been 17 years for him, Davis called him a 25-year member of the NBA, making fun of his age. “He’s seen it all in the 25 years he’s been playing,” Davis said.  LeBron was not one to keep quiet. He responded with a crisp, “F**k you.

Keeping the banter aside, Davis also praised LeBron for all the support he has given him and said, “He kind of has been there for me and supporting me and kind of guiding me through this entire process.”

James may have been a little out of form ever since he entered the bubble. However, he has been nothing but great ever since he joined the NBA franchise. He has made a name for himself unlike any other and deserves way more credit than he receives.
