The Los Angeles Lakers will face off vs Miami Heat in Game 2 of the NBA Finals Friday night. LA will be looking forward to taking a 2-0 lead in the series following a remarkable Game 1 victory. Moreover, they will rock their Black Mamba jerseys to honor Lakers legend – Kobe Bryant.

So far the Lakers are undefeated when wearing these stunning jerseys. They will be looking forward to continuing their amazing streak in the next game as well. Last time, when the Lakers wore the Black Mamba uniform, Anthony Davis gave fans a memorable game-winner against the Nuggets at the WCF.

It has led fans to believe that something is special about these jerseys. Lakers’ president believes that is indeed true with these jerseys.

“We’ve all heard the stories of how the 2-4 shows up in different places and then that happens and then Frank makes mention of it talking to the team. How do you not believe in the magic? How do you not believe that he’s watching us? How do you not?”

Originally, the Lakers wanted to unveil the jersey back on May 1st on Gianna Bryant’s birthday. However, due to the NBA season being on a 5-month hiatus, the launch was pushed to a later date. Regardless, this is an incredible tribute to Kobe Bryant, who himself helped design the jersey back in the 2017-18 season.

Lakers’ motivation to win the championship in honor of Kobe has worked out pretty well so far. Moreover, they are the heavy favorites to crush the Heat in the finals in just four or five games.

Honestly, if the Lakers bring their Game 1 form to the table, they should have no issues in putting the series to bed.

But the Lakers have proved their critics wrong so far and if they win the title, it should be the end of them. Moreover, Miami Heat’s two-star players in Goran Dragic and Bam Adebayo are still doubtful for the next game. If they miss the game, Miami’s chances will be reduced even further.

But what do you think? Will the purple and gold win it all for Kobe Bryant or not?
