Echoing the clutch factor seen in March Madness this year on the men’s side, the women’s NCAA teams seem to have almost outperformed the boys. The most notable among the women’s teams have been the Iowa Hawkeyes, who are now set to play the Colorado Buffaloes in the Sweet 16. Having already started to get noticed by NBA stars, a 21-year-old future NBA prospect from the Hawkeyes received attention once again today after an unbelievable feature was revealed that shocked basketball fans.

NBA buffs started to compare the young star to Kawhi Leonard for having a similar built-in advantage to the Los Angeles Clippers forward. Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry had earlier shared his praise for the young baller’s performance in the tournament. Even before her entry into the league, the young star seems to have stolen the spotlight.

Demolishing SLU and the Georgia Bulldogs in the first and second rounds, respectively, of the postseason respectively, the Iowa Hawkeyes have successfully made it to the Sweet Sixteen. The impact of their 6-foot guard Caitlin Stark is already being felt in the NCAA. With 26-point and 22-point performances in the initial two rounds, Clark continues to lead her team from the front.

Shooting efficiently from outside the line, Clark is averaging 26.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.6 assists for Iowa. Clark’s three-point shooting has been especially notable. The young guard’s daggers at crunch time send a shiver down the spine of her opponents. Stephen Curry recently commended her for her effort.

Stephen Curry while praising Clark mentioned, “She’s fearless…She just adds another element of surprise that you can’t really game-plan for.” The 4x champion added, “Once she crosses half court, she’s within her range and it’s always a threat.” Popular analyst Stephen. A. Smith had also mentioned in a show, “Caitlin Clark is the Steph Curry of women’s basketball,” adding an interesting angle to the Warriors star’s praise for Clark

After all that appreciation, Caitlin Clark is on fans’ minds again today, after an interesting ability of hers was revealed on Instagram.

Caitlin Clark reveals Kawhi Leonard-like feature

Following the second-round win, Caitlin Clark revealed the size of her hands by comparing them with her teammate Gabbie Marshall – who plays center and whose hands were smaller next to Clark’s! The reporter interviewing them was stunned to see the difference. NBA fans went on to compare the young player to Clippers star Kawhi Leonard. Also known as the ‘Claw’, Leonard is famous for his wide grip-span which he uses to easily handle the ball with his big palm and long fingers.

Here are some of the fans’ reactions to Clark’s clear advantage on Instagram:

“This makes so much sense. She’s got men sized hands shooting a women’s sized Wilson. She’s practically shooting a nerf ball…”

“They already knew who had the biggest hands in that locker room.”
