After being named in the USA Basketball squad for the 2023 Women’s FIBA AmeriCup in Mexico just a month back, she took to Twitter to showcase herself in national colors as she was seen rocking the USA jersey in her Twitter post, which was captioned, “Little Miss USA.” The overwhelming joy for an athlete when he/she gets the opportunity to wear their country’s jersey with their name engraved on the back, can easily be traced on the face of Reese as well based on her smile in the pictures.

The 21-year-old is eager to step out on the court and give it her all to ensure a gold for her country in the upcoming tournament.

The ‘Bayou Barbie’ made a name for herself in college basketball when she led the LSU Lady Tigers to a national championship, despite the gesture against her opponents, defeating the Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 to claim the franchise’s first title since 1988.

Reese was recently voted as the Sportswoman of the Year in the BET awards 2023 for her exceptional run in the NCAA this season, with her astounding numbers. She averaged 23 points and 15.4 rebounds with a field goal% of 52.5 throughout this championship-winning season.
