Angel Reese has become one of the most famous entities in the basketball world since leading LSU Tigers to an NCAA Championship title. Reese was selected in the USA Women’s team roster for the Ameri Cup which will be held in Mexico. On the occasion of Mother’s Day, her mother was seen missing the young basketball starlet while she is busy preparing for her first appearance for Team USA.

Angel Reese has been phenomenal for the LSU Tigers this season. She’s been averaging 23 points and 15.4 rebounds and has crossed the coveted mark of 50% shooting from the field. Her consistent performances with the Tigers have earned her a berth in the USA Women’s team roster.

Angel Reese’s mother misses her on the occasion of Mothers’ Day

Getting a chance to feature for your nation is one of the biggest honors for any basketball player around the world. Angel Reese is the latest basketball starlet to have gotten the privilege of featuring for the USA.

Angel Reese’s mother Angel Webb was seen remembering her daughter on the occasion of Mother’s Day. She put up a post on Twitter in which she can be seen alongside her son. She captioned the image, “Me & my Sonshine on Mother’s Day missing my girl today but she’s on her grind.” 

It seems Angel Webb is quite proud of her daughter’s achievements so far in her basketball career. Reese’s mother would have loved to be in her company on Mother’s Day but getting a chance to represent the USA doesn’t come by every day. A few days ago, Webb revealed how her daughter’s fame has affected her life. Angel Webb revealed that she’s been getting a lot of male attention lately as men are mistaking her for her daughter.

Though her daughter isn’t home with her, we wish Angel Webb a happy Mothers’ Day nonetheless!

Seems like the young basketball starlet takes heavy inspiration from his mother as she happened to be a skilled basketball star when she was younger. Reese said, “She used to play in a little league, and I used to always go to watch her games on Sundays. That was something that was always inspiring to me” As it seems Angel Webb is partly responsible for her daughter’s massive success. It was heartening to see the Angel Reese’s admiration of her mother. If not for Angel Webb we might have never known who Angel Reese was.
