Zion Williamson shined like a star even before his first thunderous slam in the NBA. He was the most marketable rookie since LeBron James in 2003. As a result, the Duke alums signed lucrative deals with Mountain Dew, Gatorade, 2K Sports and Nike’s Jordan before signing a $44.27 million rookie contract with the New Orleans Pelicans. If this wasn’t enough, all eyes were on him to be the next face of the NBA.
Entering his first NBA game, the stage was set for him to unleash his athleticism and redefine the game uniquely. In essence, Zion had his net worth established at over $20 million at just 19 years of age.

While Zion did not pull a Shaqtin‘ and spend a million in his first hour, he did spend a huge chunk of his first paycheck. First, he purchased a Jeep Wrangler, not for himself, but for his little brother. The Jeep costed around $40,000. The craziest part is that his brother still had eight years before he could legally drive.?
The second, which made its way to several headlines, was a mansion in Louisiana. The fresh Pelican ensured he had dined and wined in luxury during his time in the state. The $900,000 mansion earlier belonged to NBA center Greg Monroe. He originally purchased the 2003-built Mansion in 2013 and hoped to sell it in 2019.
The Mansion is located on the links in a 5000+ square-foot area. The 5-room and six-bathroom abode flaunts timeless palatial features. The place screamed perfection for Williamson’s family with its open living area, spacious kitchen, wet bar, butler’s pantry, gaming room and multiple garages to safe-keep his first purchase.?
Greg Monroe was drafted seventh overall in 2010. He played for the Pistons, Bucks, Celtics, Suns and three other NBA teams. During his career, the center hardly had time for the Louisiana mansion. With Duke’s Zanos missing most of his rookie year due to injuries, the luxurious Mansion came like pretty much every other thing in Zion’s life ? a blessing.?

Zion Willaimson was once accused of illegally owning a house
Zion’s college highlights are one of the most hyped mixtapes ever. Zion has been thrashing rims long before making his first all-star in 2021. He averaged nearly 22 points on a whopping 68% efficiency from the field. 2018 Williamson was predicted to represent the NCAA team LSU Tigers or Clemson University. However, in mid-January, Zion announced his alliance with Duke University’s the Duke Blue Devils.
Fast forward to a few years ago when Gina Ford, Zion’s former marketing agent, accused the former of welcoming incentives from Duke. She claims that one of many gifts accepted by the Allstar was a house in South Carolina. Till now, Williamson has maintained a clean rapport in legal matters, and the true side of Gina’s claims is still mysterious.?
