At 20 years of age, the LSU champ has amassed millions on the back of her rapping stint. Besides, she has signed a mega deal with Jay-Z’s label, Roc Nation.
The 20-year-old owes a lot to her mentor, and her father’s close friend Boosie Badazz.
In a recent VladTV interview, Boosie Badazz also spoke up about his relationship with Johnson. The host pointed out that Boosie calls Johnson “niece” and asked him if she was his cousin’s daughter. He then informed that she is not directly related to him, and she is the daughter of the lost rapper Camouflage a.k.a Jason Johnson.
After showing Boosie a snippet of Johnson’s own comments on him, the host asked Boosie to open up about his equation with Johnson. “You know I was cool with her daddy, so. All through her life, I have been. She calls me uncle… she been playing in my backyard since she was little,” Boosie Badazz said. Johnson herself has previously admitted that the rapping icon had helped her start the rap journey.
