Stephen Curry-led-Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob recently expressed his interest in buying a franchise in a place over 340 miles away from San Francisco, Los Angeles. However, the franchise he is eyeing is neither the Los Angeles Lakers nor the Los Angeles Clippers. The franchise is, in fact, not a part of the NBA. Fans would be surprised with which franchise has piqued the interest of Lacob.
Lacob purchased the Warriors in 2010 for around $450 million. Since then, over the years, he built their home court, Chase Center, and invested sensibly to win four-championships in a span of eight years. However, now the 66-year-old is finally looking forward to buying the $2.2 billion franchise he has been eyeing.
