Giannis will be a free agent in 2021. The ‘Greek Freak’ is poised to be able to negotiate a contract that will see him eclipse some of the league’s current best-paid players. 

The biggest names in free agency are always linked to every club across the league. Antetokounmpo’s reply sent the internet into overdrive as fans began speculating what a move to the LA Lakers may mean. Giannis became a star at Milwaukee and features on a team with his brother Thanasis. He won last season’s MVP award while with the Bucks and can commit his long term future there. However, his other brother plays for the yellow and gold uniformed team at the Staples Center.

Players these days are judged by their moves to the more competitive Western Conference.
