Women’s professional basketball is taking the world by storm. The New York Liberty won their first round matchup by beating the Washington Mystics. NBA and New York legend Carmelo Anthony, alongside his son Kiyan, were also present to support their favorite players.

The 2018 WNBA MVP’s determination and skills were the highlights of the game. Stewart tallied 29 points and 9 rebounds. After beating the Washington Mystics in a 90-85 overtime win, New York is headed for the semi-finals.
This ends their 8 year drought of reaching the final four.
Alongside Stewart, Jones was nothing short of a spectacle. She scored 19 points and 14 rebounds. A truly mesmerizing game that propelled the Liberty toward victory.
