“If one-and-done happens, it happens.” On Angel Reese’s ‘Unapologetically Angel’ podcast, Kiyan Anthony opened up about the possibility of a once-in-a-moon choice just like his father. Already a lot of people are considering him to follow Carmelo Anthony’s path to Syracuse, and the decision will be official in a week’s time. Till then, do the other two programs have a realistic chance of landing the 6-foot-5 guard?
“I think it’s going to be Syracuse. I mean there’s really no signs that are pointing towards any of these other schools at the moment.” Zagsblog recruiting expert Sam Lance spoke to Jackson Holzer about Kiyan Anthony’s 2025 decision. “So I’d just be absolutely shocked if Kiyan went anywhere else but Syracuse at this moment.”
But before the good news about the future, it seems the past week had some mixed news. His NIL valuation suffered a 2% dip as per On3, but the reason is not stated. With a $22,000 drop, his valuation is still $1.1 million, and #11 on high school basketball NIL rankings which his rival AJ Dybantsa leads.

Well, just a few days ago, the son of Carmelo and La La Anthony, signed with a billion-dollar company for representation. William Morris Endeavor, also signed Kiyan Anthony’s mother earlier this year. For the 17-year-old, they announced via social media, “WME Sports is proud to announce we have signed Long Island Lutheran guard Kiyan Anthony to exclusive NIL representation.”

During the November 15th episode of ‘7PM in Brooklyn’, the shortlist of three will finally have one winner. For the longest time, the Orange has been in the lead, and currently, On3 also gives them a 93.7% chance to sign Kiyan Anthony. As per Sam Lance, the decision is not only based on nostalgia, but the current pieces in Auburn and USC don’t suit the guard.
