The ongoing college football season recently saw one of its best matches two days ago, as Michigan State faced off against Central Michigan after five years of waiting. Millions of people, including Michigan state alumni Magic Johnson, tuned in to see the highly anticipated match.
Michigan failed to deploy a good offense during the first quarter of the game. They were, however, able to pull themselves together during the second half. One of the most memorable players during the game was Nathan Carter, who rushed over 113 yards and scored a touchdown on 18 carries. With a total of 416 yards of defense against Central Michigan’s 219, Michigan was declared the winner of the game.
No one was more excited about the victory than Magic Johnson. A few hours, the former player took to X (formerly Twitter) to send out a tweet to his 5.2 million followers. Giving a shout out to his “Spartans,” Johnson congratulated the team on their “good team effort.”

Noah Kim drove his team to victory by not jumping ship
With their current victory, the Michigan State Spartans have kicked off their NCAA football journey with a good start. The turnaround has been attributed to the efforts of a few select players, including Noah Kim. During an interview with WLNS.COM, Kim talked about the reason for sticking with his team despite the fact that he had been kept as a backup throughout the last season.
“I didn’t want to jump ship when times got tough because I’ve been through adversity before and it’s just another form of adversity and something that I feel I can get through,” said Kim during the interview.
