Shaq’s Instagram has always provided fans with some laughs. Boasting over 31 million followers, the Los Angeles Lakers legend could call himself an influencer if he wanted to. Although he does not have a specific niche, Shaq is seen posting about anything from sports to food. Being quite the jester, Shaquille O’Neal also loves to poke fun at people. And with his size and stature, not many would dare stop him. Though he already has a dedicated channel to NBA bloopers called ‘Shaqtinafool’, he often uses his own page for certain banter.
His Instagram works as a platform to share inspiration and humor, but sometimes, he errs on the wrong side of caution. And recently, Shaq shared a clip that could result in him leaving America.

Shaq shares exotic meat scare in grocery stores
Gospel singer Lexi Allen recently took to Instagram to upload a post, showing a woman trying to stop “exotic” sales in America. The video starts off on a serious note, with the woman sending out a warning that read “Danger in America”. But as the crux of the story is revealed one can understand why Shaquille O’Neal would want to post this in his story.

Shot in a grocery store, the video shows a woman going meat shopping when she spots something horrendous. Continuing to explain the danger the woman states “I am about to show ya’ll why we need to move out of America, look at this“.
Fans might be worried about Shaq reposting such a statement but watch on and you’ll understand the context.

Flipping her phone camera to expose the exotic sales, the woman then revealed that the store was selling “Lion chops“.
Putting it in her words she said “They are selling Lion chops! They are taking exotic animals and cutting them up and putting them in our grocery stores!” The woman then panned her camera around the store and stated. “Look I am in Safeway, they are putting Lion meat in the f*cking grocery stores!”
Was Shaq outraged at the Lion chips being sold? Whether or not he shares Allen’s distaste for Safeway, fans are curious if this will affect the big man’s citizenship status.
Will this cause Shaquille O’Neal to leave America?
To simply answer the question no, Shaq will not be leaving America.

Because as grievous as the video may seem, Shaq posting it on his story was simply a sarcastic joke. There was no exotic “Lion Meat“, and America is in no danger, the woman simply misread loins and lions.
Yes, you read that correctly, Loins.
While one could easily make that mistake, the reaction it garnered from her end was hilarious for sure. Rest assured Shaq can be in peace knowing he won’t have to leave America anytime soon. Especially when there’s so much great content coming out of the grocery stores!
