Is Simone Biles' latest feat the most impressive athletic achievement we've seen this decade?

Simone Biles just casually arrived in Paris, did a few never-before-seen stuff, walked off with a couple of gold trinkets, and stuck to the theme of the NSFW nickname she gave the US Gymnastics squad. The GWOAT is definitely the best part about watching the Olympics. Jeff Teague certainly summed up those feelings. Biles and her one insane move in these games were the big talking point of this week’s Club 520 discussion. And the NBA champ demands recognition for the star of Team USA.

The Club 520 guys have been savoring every minute of the Paris games from Snoop Dogg at the opening ceremony to Biles taking the floor. Teague didn’t even touch on his NBA mates, declaring the decorated gymnast as one of the best Olympians in history. Now one of his co-hosts apparently is a dad to budding gymnasts. So they had to gush about their favorite moves.

For the Atlanta Hawks star, “that triple back flip is nuts, bro!” He’s probably referring to one of her newest signature moves. After an initial hiccup on the vault, she stepped up to the most difficult contest in gymnastics and her playground – the balance beams. The gold-clinching move was a triple backflip. She does that a lot. What’s new? The twang and panache only the GWOAT can pack.

Even Teague says, “Some of the ways her body move, her balance on that balance beam is ridiculous, bro.” Teague hinted he may have tested the difficulty level of a balance beam on an everyday object. “Like the stuff she be doing, I was, I ain’t going to lie, I was just trying to like walk on the cracks on the sidewalk the other day. I’m like, ain’t no way in hell I can get  on a balance beam in front of millions of people watching and try to do some s**t like that, bro.

He sticks the landing with that point. Along with titles, she also has five moves named after her. The Biles I on the Balance Beam is the most difficult move on the apparatus so far, and that’s a double backflip dismount with a difficulty rating of 6.7. In the 2024 Olympics, she was aiming for her sixth move on the floor.

Jeff Teague is on the Simone Biles hypetrain

Simone Biles keeps making history. After leading Team USA to history with an overall gold tally of 3,000, she clinched another at the individual all-round final on Thursday, her second gold in Paris. She’s the first woman in six decades (third in history) to win individual all-round twice. If you don’t recognize her after all this, get ready to throw hands with Teague.

His co-host made the mistake of admitting that he previously didn’t know about Simone Biles who has 30 world championships to her name. He not only got told off by his family, Teague called him a liar if he claims to not know the “greatest, accomplished athletes of all time.” He even says that Biles, “doesn’t get enough flowers” for all that she has accomplished.
