Much anticipation was revolving around American tennis prodigy Coco Gauff’s first semi-finals match. The 19-year-old claimed her position at the US Open Singles semi-finals as she beat Karolina Muchova. Amidst all the chaos with the mid-game interruption, the athlete came out victorious. Several fans and celebrities were present at the Flushing Meadows to support her. One of them was the daughter of Michael Jordan

Jasmine Jordan boosted Coco Gauff’s confidence

The 30-year-old daughter of MJ was also present at the game to witness the moment. She represents her father’s Jordan brand, working closely with several WNBA stars. Taking time out of her routine, Jasmine took a video of the court and shared it on her IG story. Taking to Instagram, she shared a snippet from the game and wrote, “Go Crazy Sis @cocogauf.”

What can be surely said is Jasmine is not the only one supporting her. Gauff’s beloved fanbase of ‘Cocopuffs’ were also present to encourage and support her. The young athlete holds a unique bond with her fans.

Gauff often interacts with fans through her social media handles. The love that she showers upon her fans is reciprocated as they chant her name during her matches. 

Even if her first final was halted mid-game, due to climate change protestors, she beat her opponent. After Serena Williams, she is the youngest athlete to reach her home Grand Slam Final.
