Deion Sanders, AKA Coach Prime, has got much-needed support during this tough time. The Colorado Head Coach was doing quite a number on his opponents with his efficient guidance. Now in the offseason, however, the 55-year-old revealed the possibility of an amputation real soon. There are instances from the 2x Super Bowl champion’s football career which speak volumes about his great character. Guess who decided to showcase it? NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal! The former Los Angeles Lakers superstar shared one of coach Sanders’ wildest moments from 1994 to show his support for the latter. 

Though he is believed to have a lot of blood clots in his leg and the chances of amputation are not completely eliminated, Sanders seems unbothered about it. Rather, highly positive!

Coach Prime received continuous shade after his take on players from dual-parent homes and single-mother households. While no one agreed to be on the same page with the 55-year-old, the Big Diesel did. The 51-year-old has supported Sanders from day one. Now back again, Shaq has shown his support, but in a unique way. 

Controversies and hate are nothing new to the veteran coach. During his time with the Dallas Cowboys back in 1994, things did not go well for Sanders when he had to face his former team, the San Francisco 49ers. 

Well, the San Francisco mob absolutely hated Sanders’ sudden exit from the team after just one season. As fans continued to boo him and held placards to hate the Cowboys veteran, he decided to vent it out with a few punches at his former teammate Andre Rison. That wasn’t the only highlight.

The 55-year-old added some cold words after the game, “I got one thing to say, this is MY HOUSE! I built this and this is my house.” Coach Prime himself posted the above video, which the Lakers legend decided to reshare in his Instagram story. However, the post was mysteriously deleted in a few hours. 

Shaq’s love for the NFL legend is never-ending, as showcased by his support for Sanders’ controversial statement. In the meantime, Sanders is still in the danger of amputation. Moreover, this is not the first time the veteran coach will get amputated. Previously, the 55-year-old had to surgically remove two of his toes. Now his entire leg is in danger!

Shaquille O’Neal is the only one to support Sanders’ wild statement 

As a head coach, Sanders has his way of choosing smart players. The 55-year-old takes into consideration something more than skills on the field. Parents and household! Sanders, in an interview, shared, “Now quarterbacks are different. We want mother father. Dual parent.” Moreover, the former cornerback believes he cannot find much smartness in a player with a single mother.

As wild as this sounds, Shaquille O’Neal agreed with this. The Big Aristotle kept it simple in his podcast as he revealed, “Ain’t nothing wrong with that. There’s nothing wrong with what he[Sanders] said.”
