Even though baffling, the sports world converging on a relatively unknown college program in Colorado is a sight to behold. While everyone had reasonable expectations from a Deion Sanders-led program, no one predicted this. In 3 short weeks, Sanders and his boys have become the talk of town. Whether it be current or former NBA superstars, everyone’s sights are on what the program does next. As a result, games in Denver are quickly becoming a spectacle with major stars in attendance. Amidst all this, an exchange of respect involving Tom Brady has caught the eye of a 2x NBA Champion.

With the entire sports world descending on Coach Prime, what caught the legendary point guard’s eye?

While the match had a lot of hype going into it thanks to thinly veiled comments from both sides, no one was expecting such a poor performance from Coach Prime’s son. For 3 quarters, at least. In the 4th, however, Shedeur Sanders, along with the rest of the Buffaloes squad woke up. As a result, a 58-yard game-typing Touchdown gave way to an Overtime victory. Following the game, Shedeur had one name in mind. Someone he had just done a perfect impersonation of. “All I was thinking was Brady mode.”

In response, the 7-time Super Bowl Champion shared the same love back to the young sensation. “I just want to go Shedeur mode at some point in life.”

Even though the first 2 victories felt like a storybook fairytale, the third game continues to prove that the Colorado Buffaloes team is legit. Moreover, it was a backup to the trash-talking prior to the game.

Between a fantastic rushing game and a calm, clutch quarterback, the program is ready to thrive. It was Shedeur Sanders’ clutchness that became the talk of town.

Before he became Michael Jordan‘s biggest enemy, Zeke was responsible for the single-most insane performance in NBA Finals history.

While the Bad Boy Pistons had long been contenders, it was their performance in the 1988 NBA Finals that was a true eye-opener. More importantly, it was the effort from Isiah against the Los Angeles Lakers that remains his best. In Game 6 of the Finals, Zeke went down with a severely sprained ankle. An injury that requires at least 3-4 weeks of recovery time was clear in the swelling visible even through TV screens.

However, like Shedeur is doing today, Thomas persevered. Hobbling and hopping, Zeke would score 25 points in the fourth quarter. While he would ultimately fall short and lose the game, the performance became the most iconic of one of the great NBA careers.

Further, it gave Detroit a confidence. One that led to back-to-back Championships in 1989 and 1990. Could Shedeur’s heroics follow a similar trajectory?
