NBA legend Dwyane Wade earned an estimated $198 million from his NBA contracts. After his retirement, Wade made a huge decision to invest in the league. Interestingly, the three-time NBA champion became a minority owner of the Utah Jazz. This came as a surprise to many as he did not have any connection with the franchise during his time in the league. Given his legendary status at the Miami Heat, it was strange for fans to see him root for a different team from the sidelines. The same can be said about NFL legend Tom Brady.

After his retirement, Brady became a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Recently, The seven-time?Super Bowl champion took the field as an owner and Wade gave his reaction via social media.

Tom Brady’s legendary career came to an end against the Dallas Cowboys in the playoffs. A few months later, Brady was in Dallas as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. Before and after the game, the former quarterback walked around the field and engaged with multiple stars, coaches, and staff. In one instance, Brady was having a conversation with $13.4 billion worth Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

The NFL’s official Instagram handle shared the moment between the two with the caption, “Owner talk.” This caught the attention of Dwyane Wade who gave his reaction in the comment section. The Miami Heat legend commented, “?? for this caption.”?Interestingly, Wade recently joined the ownership group of WNBA’s Chicago Sky as well.

Wade, who himself is a minority owner, seemed to love the recognition Brady received as an owner. Notably, the Raiders and the Cowboys have a combined net worth of a whopping $13 billion.

Unfortunately for the former quarterback, the result was not what he would have wanted. The Cowboys started the game strong against his Raiders and did not look back as they clinched the game 31-16.

The reason behind Tom Brady’s decision

Tom Brady opened up about the reason behind his interest in the Nevada franchise?recently during an interview with the Associated Press.

Brady noted that the 49ers were his favorite team as he grew up in the Bay Area. He stated, “The team across the bay was the Raiders. And, you know, they?re an iconic NFL franchise.”

The three-time NFL MVP also said that many individuals from the Las Vegas Raiders have had a huge impact in the league including former owner and GM the late Al Davis. He added that joining the organization was a dream come true.

Brady maintained that he would play a passive role in the team. Also, he shared his excitement in continuing the? role for the rest of his life.
