In a recent podcast interview for “SHOWTIME Basketball”, Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett voiced his opinion against Boston Celtics teammate Paul Pierce. Just 4 days after praising the $6.4 billion worth ‘New England Patriots’ franchise, The Big Ticket?expressed that the ‘Miami Dolphins will make the playoffs this season.

Kevin Garnett explained, “Miami is going to make the playoffs before Pats bro.” to which Tony Cavallo agrees saying, “They are definitely better than the Pats (patriots) this year but…” Before Tony could finish his sentence, Paul Pierce challenges Kevin Garnett as he says, “Let’s bet that.” The former teammates then shake each other’s hands, acknowledging the bet.

The Truth immediately disagreed with his 2008 NBA Championship-winning teammate. Pierce further explains, “I got Pats this year. Bill Belichick is still over there, you must have forgot. He just got Zeke too.”

KG responds to this, which leads to a hilarious confrontation between the former teammates. KG says, “What did he say?” as he points towards the host Tony, “Don’t bet with your heart.”

It seems Garnett is a big Boston sports fan. In a recent interview, KG reminisced about the fun times he had when he would go to watch the ‘Patriots’ play with his teammates. He was traded to the Celtics in 2007 when Paul Pierce was already in his ninth season with the Green.

The duo bonded over watching Patriots’ games. Paul Pierce and KG were big fans of Tom Brady and Randy Moss who were in their primes in 2007. KG says in his interview that watching the Patriots compete inspired him to perform better on the basketball court.
